Background:
Founded in 2014, Royal Farms Ltd is a poultry company offering high-quality poultry products. We are located in Bombo town of Luwero district in Central Uganda. We have set up feed mill, poultry farm and modern slaughter house. We are in process of starting up our own Hatchery.
We strive to provide customers with high quality products, along with an unequaled commitment to service.
Our team includes veterinarians, agronomists, and food technology specialists and we use the latest poultry-production technology.
Operations/Management:
Royal Farms Ltd consists of group of young Entrepreneurs who within a short span of 5 years has increased the turnover of 100,000 USD per annum, to 3.5 million USD per annum.
Royal farms ltd has its own current capacity of 100,000 live birds and in process of increasing to 300,000 live bird farms within a year along with capacity of 10,000 live birds to be processed per day by latest automatic machines. We have supplies of 150,000 live birds from more than 40 out growers. We are the first ones in Uganda to implement air chilling process of the products in our plant.
Mr. Rustam Lalani, one of the Directors has a vast experience of 20 years in this field and he is one of the front leading entrepreneurs in Uganda. He has a vision to reach a turnover of 5,000,000 USD in the next 3 years.

Products:
Our products come from the following three (3) sections:
- Feed mill: Chicken feeds
- Poultry Farm: Broiler birds
- Chicken Processing Plant: whole chicken, drum sticks, chicken thighs, chicken wings, liver, chicken feet, chicken back, chicken pops, breast fillet, soup pack, fillet trimmings, gizzard and many others.
Outlets:
We have 10 outlets and they are located in Entebbe, Martin Road, Kawempe, Bugolobi, Bukoto, Ntinda, Kitantale, Mukono and Mawanda Road. In addition, we have 4 distributors.
Forecast and export:
We are currently processing 5000 birds per day and we intend to process up to 20,000 birds per day in near future.
We have plans to supply Sudan, Southern Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya.
